Today marks the first day of the Lunar Calendar, a day that is commonly known as the Chinese New Year.  Over the years, this New Years celebration has become increasingly significant in my life.  Like many of you I spend the last days of December  resolving and intending  to make significant improvements to my life in the year to come.   And while I’m usually able to stick to those promises, I find that it takes a few weeks to really get a sense of the vibe and rhythm of the year.  Once I do, I can better position myself to work with the flow  instead of against it.   Going with the flow requires a complete surrender to your greater purpose in life, which can be difficult at best, downright terrifying at worst – but absolutely necessary if you want to live a happy life.   This was the first lesson I learned when I began developing the Feminine Art of Balance™ Program.   For years, I’ve been playing around with the idea in my head (and heart) without fully committing to it.  But no matter how many times I tried to convince myself otherwise,  F.A.B. was to be a part of my purpose, my life’s work, my destiny.   And so it is.
